Three typescript volumes written by Wright, editor of the Columbus Journal Republican: (1) a history of Co. B, 7th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry of Fall River, Wisconsin, including copies of Civil War diaries and letters and concerning the battles of South Mountain, Antietam, and Gettysburg, with photographs and biographies of the survivors of Company B; (2) a history of Civil War soldiers from Columbia County, Wisconsin, including letters, seven diaries, clippings, and biographies of individual soldiers; and (3) a history of Fall River and Columbus, Wisconsin, and surrounding townships, 1836-1914, including 1836 and 1841 maps of Portage County, 1846-1855 maps of Columbia County, and a settlement map of Fountain Prairie.
